"Exclusive Ranch Resort"

The natural topography of the Highlands provides dramatic panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, Hualalai, Mauna Loa, and Mauna Kea volcanoes, expansive natural landscape and beautiful Hawaiian vistas.  The Highlands slope gradually from 3750 foot elevation to 5500 foot elevation.  There are a variety of land forms and ecological zones supporting Koa and Ohia forests, mixed forest and grazing lands, and a host of residential, agricultural, and recreational uses. It is easily accessible with direct access from the highway and is very convenient to the adjacent town of Kealakekua and the major resort town of Kailua -Kona, for shopping, restaurants, entertainment, and city amenities.

To recap, the Highlands is planned ranch and recreational development in an ecologically and culturally sensitive, “exclusive ranch resort” community with an abundance of wide open space and magnificent vistas.  This is a truly magical taste of old Hawaii, that offers a wonderful location for a new beginning.
